Kasra Lang is a writer from London. His work has appeared in The Threepenny Review, The London Magazine, Los Angeles Review of Books, among other publications. He is a regular contributor to Lodestars Anthology, where he has writen about everything from a three-week walk in the Arctic, to the abandoned coal mines of North Wales.

He lives with his wife in Los Angeles, where is currently pursuing a PhD in English and Creative Writing at the University of Southern California. He is at work on a memoir, More Than a Shadow, about a journey in Iran. Travelling the country during a winter of intense snowfall, the author traces the parallel lives of his father and uncle—the former having left for England in 1978, while the latter, a charismatic but unstable painter, stayed behind through the tumult of revolution and war.
